Today, October 10th, is my papa’s birthday! He is 64 years young and ready to celebrate.
For example, he already told me that he’s never going to have another colonoscopy again because he doesn’t intend to live for more than ten more years, so you can see that the party is in full swing over here.
By the way, he loved your comments on his Time Stands Still review and shared the post with mama. Mama is not happy. She asked me, and I’m paraphrasing, why those ladies of the night want to adopt papa and what has happened to modesty in this world. I had to explain that Heather meant that she wanted to be adopted by papa, not adopt him, but it hardly made things better where mama was concerned.
But back to papa!
Last week papa was babysitting the kids while I went out and I asked him if he would mind keeping an eye on Young Ladrinka’s friend as well. I don’t like asking my parents to watch other kids as well, because they are elderly and feeble, but papa surprised me.
“Absolutely,” he said. “And as bonus, I have no pedophiliac tendencies, so there is no problem.”
