Yesterday Husbandrinka and I celebrated our eleventh wedding anniversary.
I celebrated by getting a new zit on the side of my nose, which, incidentally, is my least favorite place to get a facial zit. Â Then I continued the celebration by announcing that I wasn’t feeling well and going to bed and he extended the merriment by saying, “didn’t you do the exact same thing last weekend?” Â This is what I’ve had to put up with for eleven years, ladies and gentlemen of the jury.
We went out to dinner. Â And it was lovely. Â Not as lovely as our tenth wedding anniversary, when we went to Quebec, but not every anniversary can be international.
I’m not going to wish him a Happy Anniversary on my blog, because he doesn’t read it. Â But between us, it has been an amazing eleven years. Â That man deserves some kind of an award. Â Disagreement with the last sentence is strongly encouraged.

He DOES sound like a keeper- just don’t admit that to him! Also, i love the fact that you went to bed. I almost feel like if each day is good, why ruin it with a ONE day celebration? ya know?
Although I think you’re the catch of the century, I’m nominating him for saintrinka next year 😉
Happy anniversary!
So while you were getting married, I was having a baby! I’m thinking that was a pretty good day all around. 🙂
Congrats!
Happy Anniversary!
We should compare notes on the least favorite place to get a zit, in general. I have a feeling I could one up you on that front right now, but we won’t go there.
I think he won the award when you agreed to be his wifedrinka, really.
Happy anniversary!
Happy 11th!!!
And I caught up on some of your posts…and we must have some of the same favorite bloggers because one of mine went off line also…but she’s back!!!! 🙂
Congrats on eleven years, that’s awesome!! Sorry about the zit though. We think nose zits suck more than most others.
Aw, happy anniversary, Rinkas!!
Happy Anniversary!
Happy Anniversary! My husband and I just celebrated our 11 year anniversary this month too. At the California Pizza Kitchen with my sister and our five kids. To enhance the mood, the hubby and I even sat at different booths. I’ve been waiting for my sister to send me the picture she took, so I can write a post about it.
Ahhh, having a baby changes everyting.
Happy same day anniversary! Sorry about sending the zit through the net! Maybe you could send me that extra year of married wisdomry you have, via cyberspace!
